Treatment for alcoholism in acute care hospitals licensed by the Commonwealth or accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals shall be treated by all health care carriers as any other disease entity covered by their contracts. Effective:July 15, 1980 History: Amended 1980 Ky. Acts ch. 290, sec. 4, effective July 15, 1980. -Created 1978 Ky. Acts ch. 131, sec. 4, effective January 1, 1979.
