364.070 Brand, adoption by timber dealer. (1) (2) (3) Any timber dealer may adopt a brand. Every timber dealer desiring to adopt a brand may do so by executing a writing in substantially the following form: "Notice is hereby given that I (or we) have adopted the following brand in my (or our) business as timber dealer (or dealers), to-wit: [here insert the words, letters, and figures constituting the brand, or the facsimile of any device other than words, letters or figures]. "Dated this .... day of ...., 19..." The writing shall be acknowledged or proved for record in the same manner as deeds, and shall be recorded in the office of the county clerk of the county in which the principal office or place of business of the timber dealer is located. A copy shall be posted at the principal place of business, one (1) at the courthouse door in the county where the business is carried on, and one (1) at each of three (3) other public places in the county.
