286.6-535 Insurance for members. (1) (2) A credit union may purchase or make available insurance for its members in amounts related to their respective ages, shares, deposits or loan balances or to any combination of them. A credit union may enter into cooperative marketing arrangements to facilitate its members' voluntary purchase of insurance, limited to credit life, accident and health insurance. Effective: July 13, 1984 History: Created 1984 Ky. Acts ch. 408, sec. 54, effective July 13, 1984. Formerly codified as KRS 290.535. Legislative Research Commission Note (7/12/2006). In accordance with 2006 Ky. Acts ch. 247, secs. 38 and 39, this statute has been renumbered as a section of the Kentucky Financial Services Code, KRS Chapter 286.
