242.170 Question to be voted on -- Conduct of referendum -- Effect. (1) (2) (3) The question to be submitted to the voters shall be, substantially, "Are you in favor of the sale of nonintoxicating malt beverages containing not more than 3.2% of alcohol by weight?" The referendum shall be held, and the votes cast counted and certified, as in general elections. If a majority of the votes cast are in the affirmative, nonintoxicating malt beverages containing not more than three and two-tenths percent (3.2%) of alcohol by weight, shall be permitted in that territory. If a majority of the votes cast are in the negative, the sale of such malt beverages shall continue to be prohibited. Effective: October 1, 1942 History: Recodified 1942 Ky.
