67C.109 Consolidated local government to have status of county and of city of the first class for the purpose of receiving government aid and grants. For the purpose of applying for or receiving any aid or grant-in-aid from the Commonwealth of Kentucky or the government of the United States, a consolidated local government shall be deemed a county and shall be deemed an incorporated city of the first class under the Constitution and general laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
