520.060 Promoting contraband in the second degree.

520.060 Promoting contraband in the second degree. (1) A person is guilty of promoting contraband in the second degree when: (a) He knowingly introduces contraband into a detention facility or a penitentiary; or (b) Being a person confined in a detention facility or a penitentiary, he knowingly makes, obtains, or possesses contraband. (2) Promoting contraband in the second degree is a Class A misdemeanor. Effective: July 13, 1990 <br>History: Amended 1990 Ky. Acts ch. 497, sec. 25, effective July 13, 1990. -- Created 1974 Ky.
