CHAPTER 403 DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE -- CHILD CUSTODY
403.745 Hearing.
Download pdfand present danger of domestic violence and abuse, the court shall fix a date, time,
and place for a hearing and shall cause a summons to be issued for the adverse
party. (2) The hearing shall be fixed not later than fourteen (14) days following the issuance of the summons. (3) The summons, together with a copy of the order fixing the date of the hearing and a copy of the petition shall be personally served upon the adverse party. Service may
be made in the manner and by the persons authorized to serve subpoenas under the
provisions of Rule 45.03 of the Rules of Civil Procedure. (4) A summons may be reissued if service has not been made on the adverse party by the fixed court date and time. Effective: July 14, 1992
