304.29-011 Fraternal benefit societies, defined. Any incorporated society, order, or supreme lodge, without capital stock, including one <br>(1) exempted under the provisions of subsection (1)(b) of KRS 304.29-371, whether <br>incorporated or not, conducted solely for the benefit of its members and their <br>beneficiaries and not for profit, operated on a lodge system with ritualistic form of work, <br>having a representative form of government, and which provides benefits in accordance <br>with this subtitle, shall be a fraternal benefit society. Effective: January 1, 1989 <br>History: Created 1988 Ky. Acts ch. 310, sec. 1, effective January 1, 1989.
