286.5-241 Association interest does not disqualify officer taking acknowledgment. No public officer qualified to take acknowledgments or proofs of written instruments <br>shall be disqualified from taking the acknowledgment or proof of any instrument in <br>writing in which an association is interested by reason of his membership in or <br>employment by an association so interested, and any such acknowledgment or proofs <br>heretofore taken are valid. Effective: June 18, 1964 <br>History: Created 1964 Ky. Acts ch. 138, sec. 63(2), effective June 18, 1964. <br>Formerly codified as KRS 289.241. <br>Legislative Research Commission Note (7/12/2006).
