272.101 Purpose of law. In enacting KRS 272.1001, 272.101 to 272.341, it is the intention of the General <br>Assembly to promote, foster and encourage the intelligent and orderly production and <br>marketing of agricultural products through cooperation, to eliminate speculation and <br>waste, to make the distribution of agricultural products between producer and consumer <br>as direct as can be efficiently done, and to stabilize the marketing of agricultural products <br>and to provide for the organization and incorporation of agricultural cooperative <br>associations. Effective: July 13, 1984 <br>History: Amended 1984 Ky. Acts ch. 111, sec. 115, effective July 13, 1984. -- Created 1966 Ky. Acts ch. 208, sec. 1.
