249.040 Establishment of quarantines.
Download pdfCommissioner, establish and maintain quarantines against the importation into this state
and against the transportation within this state, of any trees, plants, and parts of plants,
whether nursery-grown or not, from any state or from any county within the state where
the plants or parts of plants are known to be affected with dangerous insect pests or plant
diseases. He shall designate in announcements of quarantines the area quarantined,
whether it constitutes a part of this state or of some other state. Effective: July 15, 1996
