227.782 Fire prevention and public safety fund.

Page 1 of 1 227.782 Fire prevention and public safety fund. There is hereby established in the State Treasury a special fund to be known as the fire <br>prevention and public safety fund. The fund shall consist of all moneys recovered as <br>penalties under KRS 227.778. The moneys shall be deposited to the credit of the fund and <br>shall, in addition to any other moneys made available for such purpose, be made available <br>to the state fire marshal to support fire safety and prevention programs. Effective: April 1, 2008 <br>History: Created 2007 Ky. Acts ch. 70, sec. 7, effective April 1, 2008.
