227.290 Commissioner, Department of Kentucky State Police, to furnish data. If, after an investigation or examination, the commissioner, Department of Kentucky <br>State Police, believes that the evidence concerning a fire indicates that a crime has been <br>committed, he or she shall furnish all data of an evidentiary nature in his or her <br>possession to the county attorney of the county in which the fire took place, or the <br>Commonwealth's attorney in that district, and request that such attorney institute such <br>criminal proceeding as the evidence warrants.
