CHAPTER 189A DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
189A.330 Reporting by clerk of cases pending more than ninety days -- Actions by Attorney General and Chief Justice.
Download pdfdays of January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1 of each year the cases involving
violations of KRS 189A.010 which have not resulted in a final ruling by the court
within ninety (90) days of the date upon which the person was charged with a
violation of KRS 189A.010. (2) The Administrative Office of the Courts shall forward a copy of the lists of these cases to the Chief Justice and the Office of the Attorney General. (3) Upon a determination that there is sufficient cause, the Office of the Attorney General may appoint a special prosecutor or prosecutors to assist in the disposition
of these cases within a reasonable time period. (4) The Chief Justice may take actions deemed necessary and reasonable to facilitate the resolution of these cases within a reasonable time period. Effective: July 1, 1991
