167.220 Authority of Department of Education. The State Department of Education is hereby authorized to expend available funds for the <br>purpose of sending children who are deaf-blind to any facility, school, or institution, <br>within or without the Commonwealth, which provides a qualified program of education <br>for such children. Such funds may be spent for evaluation and diagnosis, room, board, <br>tuition, transportation, and other items which are necessarily relevant to the education of <br>such children. Effective: July 13, 1990 <br>History: Repealed and reenacted 1990 Ky. Acts ch. 476, Pt. V, sec. 601, effective July 13, 1990. -- Created 1962 Ky. Acts ch. 87, sec. 2.
