167.035 Kentucky School for the Blind Advisory Board.
(1) There may be established a Kentucky School for the Blind Advisory Board
composed of five (5) members appointed by the Kentucky Board of Education upon <br>recommendation by the chief state school officer for terms of four (4) years and <br>until their successors are appointed. The board shall elect from its membership a <br>chairman. Members of the board shall serve without compensation but shall be <br>reimbursed for necessary expenses incurred in performance of their duties.
(2) The board shall act in an advisory capacity to assist the superintendent in
conducting the activities of the school.
