164.965 Safety and security officers -- Promotion and compensation. The governing board of each institution of public higher education may provide for the <br>appointment or promotion to the ranks and grades and positions of the department such <br>officers and civilians as are considered by the board to be necessary for the efficient <br>administration of the department. Such officers and civilians shall receive such <br>compensation as shall be fixed and paid by the board. History: Created 1972 Ky. Acts ch. 367, sec. 4.
