As used in KRS 164.516 to 164.5169, unless the context requires otherwise: <br>(1) &quot;Educational institution&quot; means any state-supported university, community college, or vocational school. (2) &quot;Kentucky National Guard&quot; means the federally-recognized units of the Kentucky National Guard. (3) &quot;Member&quot; means an active member of a federally-recognized unit of the Kentucky National Guard meeting the minimum requirements for satisfactory membership as <br>defined by the regulations of the Department of the United States Army and the <br>Department of the United States Air Force. (4) &quot;Tuition&quot; means the total semester, quarter, or classroom hour cost of instruction and matriculation and other fees required of the student that are published in the <br>catalog of the educational institution.
