146.658 Duties of director.
The director of the Kentucky Natural History Museum shall: <br>(1) Implement the policy directives of the museum's board of directors; <br>(2) Assist the board in developing and implementing programs to solicit financial and
other support for the museum and its mission;
(3) Be the principal representative of the museum. However, the board or the museum
director may designate a different representative when necessary;
(4) With the board of directors' approval, hire clerical and administrative support staff
and obtain office space and equipment;
(5) With the board of directors' approval, hire the associate directors to manage the
mission units established in KRS 146.662, 146.664, and 146.666; and
(6) By September 1 of each year, report to the Governor, the board, and the Legislative
Research Commission on activities, accomplishments, finances, and the next year's <br>goals.
