366.100 Business,  where  conducted  --  Banks may sell checks through agents. (Effective until October 1, 2006) (1) A licensee may conduct his business at one (1) or more locations within this state and through or by means of such agents as the licensee may from time to time designate or appoint. No license under this chapter shall be required of any agent of a licensee. (2) A bank, even though not required to be a licensee, shall have the right to designate any person, as defined herein, as an agent to sell its checks at locations other than at such bank or any branch thereof. The sale of checks by such agents at those locations shall not constitute a banking operation, nor shall the location be considered as a branch of the bank, and no license shall be required of any such agent.
