366.070 Investigation of applicant. (Effective until October 1, 2006) Upon the filing of an application in due form, accompanied by the fee and documents mentioned in KRS 366.060, the department shall investigate to ascertain whether the qualifications prescribed by KRS 366.040 have been met. If the commissioner finds that such qualifications have been met, and if he approves the said documents and finds that said bond is in the prescribed amount, he shall issue to the applicant a license to engage in the business of selling checks in this state.
