339.220 Minor under fourteen not to be employed -- Exception. No minor under fourteen (14) years of age shall be employed, permitted or suffered to work in, about or in connection with any gainful occupation at any time, except for employment in connection with an employment program supervised and sponsored by the school or school district such child attends, which program has been approved by the Department of Education and subject to the regulations of the executive director of the Office of Workplace Standards. Legislative Research Commission Note (6/20/2005). 2005 Ky. Acts chs. 11, 85, 95, 97, 98, 99, 123, and 181 instruct the Reviser of Statutes to correct statutory references to agencies and officers whose names have been changed in 2005 legislation confirming the reorganization of the executive branch. Such a correction has been made in this section.
