311.245 Duty of hospital and allied health personnel to make known patient's intent to donate organ. All hospital physicians, nurses, and other allied health personnel shall make every reasonable effort to convey to the appropriate hospital unit the intent of any hospitalized patient to make a donation of all or any part of his body, as provided in KRS 311.175, in order that necessary documents may be executed under the provisions of this chapter.
