236.070 Boiler and pressure vessel inspectors. The office shall employ boiler and pressure vessel inspectors who shall have had at the time of appointment not less than five (5) years practical experience in the construction, maintenance, repair, or operation of high pressure boilers and pressure vessels as a mechanical engineer, practical steam operating engineer, boilermaker, pressure vessel inspector or boiler inspector, and who shall have passed the examination provided for in KRS 236.090. Effective: July 15, 1980 History:Amended 1980 Ky. Acts ch. 207, sec. 8, effective July 15, 1980. -- Created 1962 Ky. Acts ch. 89, sec. 7. Legislative Research Commission Note (6/20/2005). 2005 Ky. Acts chs. 11, 85, 95, 97, 98, 99, 123, and 181 instruct the Reviser of Statutes to correct statutory references to agencies and officers whose names have been changed in 2005 legislation confirming the reorganization of the executive branch. Such a correction has been made in this section.
