227.610 Licensing of retailers -- Liability insurance required. The office shall, after approval by the board, license retailers under the provisions of KRS 227.550 to 227.660. The office may make the issuance of a license contingent upon the applicant's chief managing officer passing a test administered by the office. Before issuing a license, the office shall require proof of liability insurance which shall name the office in the certificate of insurance, and the license shall be null and void if there is a lapse of coverage in insurance.
