2006 Kentucky Revised Statutes - .265   Coroner may act as county or district medical examiner.

72.265 Coroner may act as county or district medical examiner. Where a duly elected coroner is a physician licensed to practice medicine in Kentucky, he may be authorized by the department to perform the duties of a county or district medical examiner and may be compensated by the department therefor.
