48.112 Governor to include certain appropriations within budget recommendations for benefit reserve fund within Kentucky Workers' Compensation Funding Commission. (1) The provisions of any other law notwithstanding, the Governor shall include in the budget recommendation for the executive branch and in the draft branch budget bill for the executive branch submitted to each even-numbered-year regular session of the General Assembly for the biennium period beginning July 1, 1998, and for each biennium thereafter, recommendations for appropriations as provided in KRS 342.122(1)(c) to be made by the General Assembly to the benefit reserve fund within the Kentucky Workers' Compensation Funding Commission established by KRS Chapter 342. (2) The amount to be recommended for appropriation to the benefit reserve fund within the Kentucky Workers' Compensation Funding Commission shall be nineteen million dollars ($19,000,000) of the coal severance tax, levied under KRS 143.020, estimate for each fiscal year of the biennium.
