20-3007. Vacancy in office of judge of court of appeals; nominations for successor by supreme court nominating commission; time for submission of nominees to governor. Whenever a vacancy shall occur in the office of judge of the court of appeals, or whenever a vacancy will occur in such office on a specified future date, the clerk of the supreme court promptly shall give notice of such vacancy to the chairman of the supreme court nominating commission.
