Article 42.--CRIMES AGAINST THE PUBLIC SAFETY

      21-4209b.   "Explosives" defined. As used in K.S.A. 21-4209 and 21-4209a, "explosives" means any chemical compound, mixture or device, of which the primary purpose is to function by explosion, and includes but is not limited to dynamite and other high explosives, black powder, pellet powder, initiating explosives, detonators, safety fuses, squibs, detonating cord, igniter cord and igniters.
