CHAPTER 216 - CIVIL RIGHTS COMMISSION
Section 216.18 - Rules of construction.
1. This chapter shall be construed broadly to effectuate its purposes.
2. This chapter shall not be construed to allow marriage between persons of the same sex, in accordance with chapter 595.
