ARTICLE 34. LOST OR UNCLAIMED PERSONAL PROPERTY
CHAPTER 1. Unclaimed Property Act
32-34-1-9. "Insurance company"

     Sec. 9. As used in this chapter, "insurance company" means an association, a corporation, or a fraternal or mutual benefit organization, whether or not for profit, that is engaged in the business of providing insurance, including the following:

(1) Accident insurance.

(2) Burial insurance.

(3) Casualty insurance.

(4) Credit life insurance.

(5) Contract performance insurance.

(6) Dental insurance.

(7) Fidelity insurance.

(8) Fire insurance.

(9) Health insurance.

(10) Hospitalization insurance.

(11) Illness insurance.

(12) Life insurance (including endowments and annuities).

(13) Malpractice insurance.

(14) Marine insurance.

(15) Mortgage insurance.

(16) Surety insurance.

(17) Wage protection insurance.
