373.0735 Southwest Florida Water Management District; governing board.
1373.0735 Southwest Florida Water Management District; governing board.--Notwithstanding the conditions of their original appointments, the terms of all members of the governing board of the Southwest Florida Water Management District shall expire on June 30, 1990. The Governor, in accordance with s. 373.073, as amended, shall, by July 1, 1990, appoint 11 members to the governing board of the Southwest Florida Water Management District. Three of said 11 new members shall have 4-year terms; 3 shall have 3-year terms; 3 shall have 2-year terms; and 2 shall have 1-year terms. The members at their first official meeting shall draw lots to determine which of said members will have the various length terms. Thereafter, the terms of the board members shall be 4 years and shall be staggered.
