CT Gen Stat § 20-519 (2015) What's This?

Before refusing, suspending or revoking any certification or provisional license, or imposing any fine, the commission shall give notice and afford an opportunity for hearing as provided in the regulations adopted by the Commissioner of Consumer Protection.

History: P.A. 93-354 effective in accordance with Sec. 20-528; P.A. 94-36 changed effective date of P.A. 93-354 but without affecting this section; P.A. 98-10 made technical changes; P.A. 00-192 replaced reference to “tenured license” with reference to “limited license”, effective May 26, 2000; June 30 Sp. Sess. P.A. 03-6 replaced Commissioner of Consumer Protection with Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Protection, effective July 1, 2004; P.A. 04-189 repealed Sec. 146 of June 30 Sp. Sess. P.A. 03-6, thereby reversing the merger of the Departments of Agriculture and Consumer Protection, effective June 1, 2004; P.A. 14-52 deleted reference to license and limited license, effective July 1, 2014.
