41712. Except as otherwise provided in Section 41713, quality standards which are established pursuant to this chapter are the only standards of quality for dehydrating garlic or onions. The provisions of any contract entered into on or after January 1, 1979, to sell dehydrating garlic or onions, or to deliver such garlic or onions on consignment, which prescribe other or different quality or maturity requirements, are ineffective, and in such contracts the quality standards which are prescribed pursuant to this chapter shall be implied by law.
