Section 27034


CA Food & Agri Code § 27034 (through 2012 Leg Sess) What's This?

An enforcing officer may do all of the following:

(a) Enter and inspect any place or conveyance where any poultry or poultry meat is produced, prepared, packed, repacked, cut up, recut, stored, delivered for shipment, loaded, shipped, transported, or sold.

(b) Inspect all poultry and poultry meat and any container of poultry or poultry meat which is found at the place or conveyance which is entered and inspected.

(c) Take for inspection such representative samples of the poultry or poultry meat and the poultry and poultry meat containers as may be necessary to determine by laboratory analysis or other tests whether or not this chapter has been violated.
