2005 Arizona Revised Statutes - Revised Statutes §16-506  Ballot and ballot labels; electromechanical

A. In all elections the ballots shall provide a means whereby each elector may vote for the candidates of his choice.

B. Immediately below the designation of the office to be voted for shall appear the words: "Vote for not more than __________" (insert the number to be elected).

C. In general elections for the state house of representatives the names of the candidates of the same political party shall be alternated on the ballots used in each district so that the name of each candidate shall appear substantially an equal number of times in each possible location on the ballot as may be practicable. If there are fewer or the same number of candidates seeking office than the number to be elected, the rotation of names is not required and the names shall be placed in alphabetical order.
