Section 45-2-120.06Personnel department - Duties; funding. The personnel department shall assist the county commission in the establishment and implementation of a merit-based personnel system. The county commission shall fund the personnel department adequately for the department to carry out its tasks and duties including necessary and reasonable funding for operation of the personnel appeals board.
