Section 30-1-6Solemnization of marriage of parties under age of consent or within prohibited degrees, etc. Any person solemnizing the rites of matrimony with the knowledge that either party is under the age of legal consent, or within the degrees prohibited by law, must, on conviction, be fined not less than $1,000.
