TEXAS COURT OF APPEALS, THIRD DISTRICT, AT AUSTIN NO. 03-17-00782-CV In re Temmie Gene Crow ORIGINAL PROCEEDING FROM GRAYSON COUNTY MEMORANDUM OPINION Relator Temmie Gene Crow, appearing pro se, has filed a petition for writ of mandamus directed to “the 15th district court of Grayson County, Texas.” By statute, this Court’s authority to issue a writ of mandamus is limited to the issuing of a writ against “a judge of district, statutory county, statutory probate county, or county court in the court of appeals district.” See Tex. Gov’t Code § 22.221(a), (b). Because Grayson County is not within the district of this Court, see id. § 22.201(d) (listing counties in Third Court of Appeals’s district), we do not have authority to issue the relief requested by Crow. The petition for writ of mandamus is dismissed for want of jurisdiction. See Tex. R. App. P. 52.8(a). __________________________________________ Scott K.
