The clerk’s record was filed April 6, 2016, and the reporter’s record was filed May 23.1 On July 7, we sent appellant notice that his brief, which had been due on June 22, was overdue, requesting a response by July 18. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.6. To date, appellant has not responded to our communications. We therefore dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. See Tex. R.
