Blomerth, Presiding April 26, 2022 MEMORANDUM OPINION Before QUINN, C.J., and PIRTLE and DOSS, JJ. Appellant Mohammad Q. Mahmood, proceeding pro se, appeals from the trial court’s order signed on February 24, 2022. Mahmood’s brief was originally due March 31, 2022, but was not filed. By letter of April 4, 2022, the Third Court of Appeals notified Mahmood that his appeal was subject to dismissal for want of prosecution if a brief was not received by April 14. On April 8, 2022, the appeal was transferred from the Third Court to this Court by the Texas Supreme Court pursuant to its docket equalization efforts. See TEX. GOV’T CODE ANN. § 73.001. To date, Mahmood has not filed a brief or had any further communication with this Court. Accordingly, we dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.8(a)(1), 42.3(b).
