Pending before this court is the Motion to Dismiss Appeal of Appellant, Ricky Lamont Hill, in which he moves to have his notice of appeal withdrawn and this appeal dismissed. Appellant was convicted of possession of a controlled substance1 and sentenced to twelve months confinement in a state jail facility. As required by Rule 1 TEX. HEALTH & SAFETY CODE ANN. ยง 481.116(b) (West 2017). 42.2(a) of the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure, the motion to dismiss is signed by Appellant and his attorney. No decision of this court having been delivered, the motion is granted, and the appeal is dismissed. No motion for rehearing will be entertained and our mandate will issue forthwith.
