See Tex. R. App. P. 9.4(i), 9.9, 38.1(a)–(k); 2nd Tex. App. (Fort Worth) Loc. R. 1.A, 7. We warned appellant that his failure to file an amended brief by February 17, 2017, could result in the striking of his deficient brief, waiver of any noncomplying points, or dismissal of the appeal. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a), 38.9(a), 42.3. On March 7, 2017, we notified appellant that he 1 See Tex. R. App. P. 47.4. had not filed an amended brief and again warned him that we could dismiss the appeal. See Tex. R. App. P. 38, 42.3. We have not received any response. Because appellant has not filed an amended brief as directed by this court, we strike the deficient brief filed on February 1, 2017, and we dismiss the appeal. See Tex. R.
