COURT OF APPEALS SECOND DISTRICT OF TEXAS FORT WORTH NO. 02-16-00162-CV IN THE INTEREST OF I.S., A CHILD ------------ FROM THE 442ND DISTRICT COURT OF DENTON COUNTY TRIAL COURT NO. 2011-61659-393 ------------ MEMORANDUM OPINION1 AND JUDGMENT -----------On November 29, 2016, we notified appellant that his brief had not been timely filed and warned that his appeal could be dismissed for want of prosecution unless he or any party desiring to continue the appeal filed a response no later than December 9, 2016. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.6(a), 38.8(a), 42.3. We have not received any response. Because appellant’s brief has not been filed, appellant failed to reasonably explain his failure, and appellee is not significantly injured by appellant’s failure, we dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a)(1), 42.3(b), 43.2(f). 1 See Tex. R. App. P. 47.4. Appellant shall pay all costs of this appeal, for which let execution issue. See Tex. R. App. P. 43.4.
