WILLIS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, Appellee _______________________________________________________ ______________ On Appeal from the 284th District Court Montgomery County, Texas Trial Cause No. 16-04-04533-CV ________________________________________________________ _____________ MEMORANDUM OPINION On May 3, 2017, we notified the appellant, Trevor Grant, of defects in a document that had been forwarded to the Court of Appeals as a notice of appeal, and we ordered the appellant to file a signed notice of appeal that contains the information required by the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure. See Tex. R. App. P. 9.1(b) (Signing by Unrepresented Parties); 9.5(e) (Service Certificate Requirements); 25.1(d) (Contents of Notice of Appeal). We further notified the appellant that the amended notice of appeal must be filed by May 18, 2017, or the 1 appeal would be dismissed. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.3. No response has been received by the Court. The appellant failed to comply with a notice from the Clerk of the Court requiring a response within a specific time. Id. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed.
