Chapa, Justice Irene Rios, Justice Delivered and Filed: September 19, 2018 DISMISSED FOR WANT OF JURISDICTION In 2015, Appellant was tried by the court, found guilty of repeated violations of a court order, sentenced, and placed on community supervision. Later, Appellant’s community supervision was revoked and Appellant was incarcerated. On March 22, 2018, Appellant filed a notice of appeal which this court designated as appeal number 04-18-00192-CR. We advised Appellant that his notice of appeal appeared untimely and ordered Appellant to show cause why this court had jurisdiction in that appeal. Appellant failed to respond, and on May 16, 2018, this court dismissed the appeal for want of jurisdiction. 04-18-00540-CR On July 27, 2018, Appellant filed a motion for leave to file a late notice of appeal. We again advised Appellant his notice of appeal appeared untimely and ordered him to show cause why this court has jurisdiction in this appeal. Appellant did not file a response. Appellant’s years-late notice of appeal did not invoke this court’s jurisdiction. Appellant’s motion for leave to file a late notice of appeal is denied. We dismiss this appeal for want of jurisdiction. PER CURIAM DO NOT PUBLISH -2-
