Fourth Court of Appeals San Antonio, Texas MEMORANDUM OPINION No. 04-18-00078-CV Tess M. VALLE, Appellant v. Leslie WHITE, Appellee From the County Court at Law No. 10, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2017CV06089 Honorable Karen Crouch, Judge Presiding PER CURIAM Sitting: Sandee Bryan Marion, Chief Justice Luz Elena D. Chapa, Justice Irene Rios, Justice Delivered and Filed: May 23, 2018 DISMISSED Tess M. Valle appeals the trial court’s judgment signed January 18, 2018. On March 26, this court notified Valle by letter that the record was complete and that her appellant’s brief was due April 25, 2018. Neither the brief nor a motion for extension of time was filed. Therefore, on May 2, 2018, we ordered Valle to file, not later than May 14, 2018, her appellant’s brief and a written response reasonably explaining her failure to timely file the brief. We advised Valle that if she failed to file a brief and the written response by the date ordered, we would dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.8(a); see also TEX. R. APP. P. 42.3(c) (court 04-18-00078-CV may dismiss appeal because appellant has failed to comply with a court order within the time provided). Valle has not filed a brief or the written response ordered by the court. We therefore dismiss this appeal. PER CURIAM -2-
