Martinez, Justice Delivered and Filed: October 18, 2017 DISMISSED FOR LACK OF JURISDICTION On August 16, 2017, Roderick Dwayne Williams filed a notice of appeal, relating to his application for a writ of habeas corpus filed in the trial court in Cause No. 1992CR3730B-W3. In his application, he complains of his confinement following a criminal conviction. The courts of appeals have no jurisdiction for felony post-conviction writs of habeas corpus. Post-conviction writs of habeas corpus must be filed in the court of conviction, but made returnable to the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. TEX. CODE CRIM. PROC. ANN. art. 11.07, § 3. The clerk’s record reflects that the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals received Williams’s application for 11.07 writ of habeas corpus on August 9, 2017. 04-17-00544-CR Therefore, on September 14, 2017, we ordered appellant to show cause why this appeal should not be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. Appellant did not respond to our order. This appeal is dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. PER CURIAM DO NOT PUBLISH -2-
