Annotate this Case

MEMORANDUM OPINION

No. 04-06-00396-CV

IN THE INTEREST OF S.R., D.R., C.R., AND A.R., CHILDREN

From the 73rd Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas

Trial Court No. 2005-PA-01174

Honorable Joe Frazier Brown, Jr. , Judge Presiding

PER CURIAM

Sitting: Catherine Stone , Justice

Sarah B. Duncan , Justice

Karen Angelini , Justice

Delivered and Filed: July 26, 2006

DISMISSED AS MOOT

After appellant filed her notice of appeal, the trial court granted appellant's motion for new trial. Consequently, the order forming the basis of this appeal is no longer in effect. Because appellant's appeal has become moot, this appeal must be dismissed. See Murphy v. Hunt, 455 U.S. 478, 481 (1982) (stating a case becomes moot "when the issues presented are no longer 'live' or the parties lack a legally cognizable interest in the outcome."). Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed as moot.
