AFFIRMED

Because the issues in this appeal involve the application of well-settled principles of law, we affirm the trial court's judgment in this memorandum opinion. Tex. R. App. P. 47.1. We affirm the trial court's judgment against Klahn-Gboloh Jarbah's claims for the following reasons:

1. The trial court did not abuse its discretion in ordering sanctions against Jarbah for failure to comply with discovery requests. Tex. R. Civ. P. 215; Chrysler Corp. v. Blackmon, 841 S.W.2d 844, 849-50 (Tex. 1992); TransAmerican Nat. Gas Corp. v. Powell, 811 S.W.2d 913, 917 (Tex. 1991); CRSS, Inc. v. Montanari, 902 S.W.2d 601, 610 (Tex. App. - Houston [1st Dist.] 1995, writ denied).

2. The trial court did not abuse its discretion in dismissing Jarbah's case for failure to comply with the rule for costs order. Tex. R. Civ. P. 143; Canton v. Clark, 639 S.W.2d 929, 931 (Tex. 1982).

The judgment is affirmed in all respects.

1. The Honorable Andy Mireles entered the order granting Bernal's motion to compel and for sanctions. In addition, Jarbah challenges the order dismissing his claims for failure to pay costs, which was entered by the Honorable John Specia, and the denial of his motion to reinstate, which was denied by the Honorable Pat Boone.
